BLCKTEC 430: Setting up Live Data

Purpose

To explain the steps on how to set up Live Data while using the BLCKTEC 430.

Step 1 -Select Record Live Data or Live Data.

After pairing with the RS2 app, select the Live Data button in the Home screen or OBD2 Live Data on the bottom.

Note: You can only view one Live Date Graph.

Step 2 -Select parameters.

Select the parameters for Live Data, then select Done.


Note: You can only input and view up to 8 parameters.

Step 3 -Select the Start Recording button.

After selecting the parameters, you will be redirected to the Live Data Dashboard, where the parameters are in Grid Mode. Select Start Recording to start gathering live data.

Step 4 - After gathering the data, select Stop.

After selecting Start Recording, the live data collection will start. Once you have gathered the data, select Stop beside the recording time in the dialogue box.

Step 5 -View parameter values.

While recording, you can either view the parameter values in Grid View Mode (data is in numerical values) or Graph View Mode (data is in the graph values).

Recording More than one Live Graph Data

Step 1 -Select the Overlay Graphs button.

You can record more than one live data graph at the same time. To use this feature, select the Overlay Graphs button.

Step 2 -Select Overlay Graphs.

A dialogue box will prompt up to select what two graph parameters you want to overlay. After selecting the parameters, select Overlay Graphs to view the overlaying graph view of the desired parameters.

Step 3 -Select Start Recording.

Once you are in the Live Data Overlay display screen, select Start Recording to see the live data recording of the parameters you set.

View Past Recordings

Step 1 - Select Past Recording.

Another Live Data feature is the capability to view past recordings. To access the Past Recordings, select Past Recordings within the Live Data screen, then select the recording you want to view.

Note: A recording that you want to view replays according to the time and date indicated in the recorded data.

Step 2 -Select Live Replay.

To view a live replay of a past recording you want to check, select the Live Replay button.

Step 3 - View previously recorded video.

After selecting Live Replay, you will see a video of the Live Data you previously recorded.
