BLCKTEC 430: How to Update your Firmware

Purpose

To explain the steps on how to update the RS2 App Firmware.

Step 1 - Select Check for Updates.

After pairing with the RS2 app, you can select Check for Updates at the bottom.

Step 2 - Wait while checking for updates is completed.

After selecting Check for Updates, you'll see a loading screen requiring you to wait until the RS2 app is done checking for the latest firmware updates.

Note: For faster and better results, staying on the loading screen is recommended until the firmware search is done.

Step 3 - Select Done.

If you're using the latest RS2 firmware, a notification screen will appear noting that your Firmware is up to date.

Note: Select Done to return to the RS2 App's main menu.

Step 4 - Select Continue.

If there is a firmware update available, a notification screen will appear: Update Available.

Note: Select the Continue button to start downloading the latest firmware update.

Step 5 - Wait for the system to Update.

After selecting the Continue button, you will be redirected to the download screen.

Note: Wait until the download process reaches 100%. Don't interrupt the download process to avoid any firmware issues.

Step 6 -Select Done.

After the latest Firmware is downloaded, a success notification screen, Firmware Updated, will appear. Select Done to return to the RS2 App's main menu.
