BLCKTEC 430: How to Perform a Whole System Scan

Purpose

Explain how to perform an all-module scan, and access the report while using the BLCKTEC 430.

Step 1 - Select Whole System scan.

After pairing with the RS2 App, you can perform a complete system scan at the Home menu.

Select Whole System to perform a scan to retrieve DTCs from all your vehicle's modules.

Step 2 - Wait until the RS2 app reads the data from your vehicle.

The RS2 app will read the data from your vehicle, including the odometer.

Step 3 - Select Generate Report.

	After your vehicle's odometer is read by the RS2 app, select Generate Report.
	While generating the report, ensure your vehicle is turned to the ON position, and your smart device is close to your BLCKTEC 430.

Note: Your vehicle’s odometer mileage should automatically be recorded in the Odometer field.

Step 4 - View the Report Page for your Whole System Scan.

The Report Page will appear after the RS2 app is done generating the report. The report will show all the DTCs detected in all your modules. To access the codes, select Results.
