BLCKTEC 430: How to Scan all OEM systems in your vehicle for codes
Purpose
To demonstrate where and how to scan all OEM systems while using the BLCKTEC 430.
Step 1 - Select 'Whole System.'
After pairing the RepairSolutions2 app and the BLCKTEC 430, select 'Whole System' to open a by-module drop-down list of individual monitor options. |
Step 2 - Wait until the app reads the data from your vehicle.
The app will read data from your vehicle, including the odometer. |
Step 3 - Select 'Generate Report.'
After your vehicle's odometer is read by the app, select 'Generate Report.'
While generating the report, ensure your vehicle is turned to the 'ON' position, and your mobile phone is close to your BLCKTEC 430.
Once the report is generated, a 'Done' message will be shown on the screen. |
Note: your vehicle’s odometer mileage should automatically be recorded in the Odometer field.
Step 4 - Select 'Results' to view all module codes.
Once you complete a Network Scan, a report for all modules will generate. Select 'Results' in the red banner to view the report for your OEM codes. |
Step 5 - Select an individual module to view OEM codes.
Select each individual module to find all codes related to OEM. All OEM codes that contain a '1' next to the code letter are manufactured-specific codes. An example would be 'P1000.' To view all individual modules, select 'View All.' |
Step 6 - View OEM codes for each specific module.
To the left are examples of OEM codes. Any code that contains 1 in the following sequence is an OEM or manufactured-specific code. For example 'B1C05-3B' and 'P120F-03' are OEM or manufactured-specific codes. |
