BLCKTEC 440: Alternator Test

Purpose

To guide you in performing the Alternator Test while using the BLCKTEC 440.

Step 1 - Press the MENU button.

On the main screen where you can view DTCs, press the MENU button.

Step 2 - Select Battery/Alternator Test, then press Select ENTER ↵.

The Main Menu will display.

Scroll through the screen using the DOWN ▼ button to scroll down to go through the options and find the Battery/Alternator Test, then press ENTER ↵.

Step 3 -Select Alternator Test, then press ENTER ↵.

The Battery/Alternator Test menu will display.

Select Alternator Test, then press ENTER ↵.

Step 4 - Follow the instructions.

An Instructional message will display showing the procedures to prepare the vehicle for the battery check.

Scroll using the DOWN▼ button and press ENTER ↵ after reading all instructions.

A prompt message on the screen will show up.
