BLCKTEC 440: Enabling/Disabling the audible tone
Purpose
To guide you on how to enable and disable the audible tone while using the BLCKTEC 440.
Introduction
Turns the Diagnostic Tool’s audible tone ON and OFF. When turned ON, a tone sounds each time a button is pressed.
Step 1 - Select the Tool Settings in the Main Menu, then press the ENTER ↵ button.

Press the DOWN ▼ button to scroll down to go through the options, select the Tool Settings option in the Menu screen, then press the ENTER ↵ button. |
Step 2- Select Audible Tone, then press the MENU/ENTER ↵ button.

Press the DOWN ▼ button to scroll down to go through the options, select the Audible Tone in the main menu, then press the ENTER ↵ button. |
Step 3 - Select ON or OFF as desired, then press ENTER ↵ to save your changes.

The Audible Tone screen will display. Select ON or OFF as desired, then press ENTER ↵ to save your changes. After you are done, press the MENU button to return to the Tool Settings menu. |
