BLCKTEC 440: The Tool Library
Purpose
To guide you on navigating to your Tool Library while using BLCKTEC 440.
Tool Library
The Tool Library contains valuable reference information for what is displayed on your scan tool. The following features are available:
- Icon Meaning – Shows the full names of the I/M Monitor Status icons shown and descriptions of informational icons on the Scan Tool’s display.
- DTC Library – Provides definitions for OBD2 DTCs.
- LED Meaning –Provides definitions of all three LED lights on your tool for your engine system.
- QR RS2 App - Explains the benefits of the RS2 App and QR code to download the app.
Step 1 - Press the MENU button.

To navigate to your Tool Library, press the MENU button. |
Step 2 - Press the DOWN ▼ button to scroll to your Tool Library, then press ENTER ↵.

The Main Menu will display. Scroll down the screen using the DOWN ▼ button to find your Tool Library. When the Tool Library is selected, press ENTER ↵. |
Step 3 - View your Tool Library options.

The Tool Library menu will display showing your available options. Select the option you wish to view, then press ENTER ↵. To return to the Main Menu, press the MENU button. |
