RepairSolutions2: Report Hardware Issue

Purpose

To guide you on how to access the Data Logging mode while using the RepairSolutions2 App.

Data Logging

Data logging will enable the RS2 app to capture backend events. This feature will allow our developers to review the capture file to resolve app and tool issues. This feature should only be used when asked to do so by a technical support agent, as they will attach notes and a reference number to your specific capture file. Do not use this function to request support. 

Step 1 - Open the RS2 App.

By default, opening the app would show the Home screen. 

Step 2 - Select the Settings menu.

Select the Settings menu on the screen. Scroll down and find the Report Hardware Issue option under the Advanced section.

Step 3 - Select the Report Hardware Issue link.

Select the link at the right side of the Report Hardware Issue section to access the Data Logging Mode.

Step 4 - Select Continue, Get Help, or Cancel, as desired.

If you want to proceed, select Continue, or Cancel if not.

If you select Get Help, pop-up information will show up for our support availability and a button linked to a page for email, chat, and tutorials.
