BLCKTEC 410: How to Update your Firmware

Step 1 - Select the 4 lines on the screen Menu.

After pairing with the RS2 app, select the 4 lines on the upper part of the main menu screen.

Step 2 - Select Check for Updates.

After clicking the 4 lines, a pop-up screen will prompt on the left. Select Check for updates to see if the firmware is up to date or needs to update.

Step 3 - Wait while checking for updates is completed.

After selecting the Check for Update button, you will be redirected to a loading screen requiring you to wait for a particular time until the app finishes checking for the latest firmware updates.

Note: For faster and best results, staying on the loading screen is recommended until the firmware search is done.

Step 4 - Select Done.

If you are currently using the latest RepairSolutions2 firmware, a notification screen will appear noting that your Firmware is up to date.

Note: Select the Done button to return to the Mobile App's Vehicle scan menu.

Step 5 - Select Continue.

If the latest RS2 firmware update is available, a notification screen will appear, showing an Update Available.

Note: Select the Continue button to download the latest firmware update.

Step 6 - Wait for the system to Update.

After selecting the Continue button, you will be redirected to the download screen.

Note: Wait until the download process reaches 100%. Don't interrupt the download process to avoid any firmware issues.

Step 7- Select Done.

Once the firmware update is done, a success notification screen noting Firmware Updated will appear. Select the Done button to return to the main screen.
